What Type Of Credit Cards Does Okitter Accept?
We accept Mastercard, Visa, Verve and Interswitch, as well as most debit cards. We hope to add more accepted payment types in the future. These payments types can be used by sellers to post ads on our site. Each seller can determine which payment types they prefer for the item they are selling.
Is My Credit Card Safe On Okitter.ng?
Okitter uses industry-standard SSL-encryption to protect sensitive data transmissions. When paying by credit card, Okitter requires additional information to help protect you against fraudulent charges, such as your card verification ID and billing address. Items Not Allowed On Okitter:
Okitter prohibits the posting or sale of any item that is illegal to sell under any applicable law, statute, ordinance, or regulation, including, but not limited to, items listed in our Prohibited Items.In addition, Okitter may require members to be registered for at least 48 hours before posting certain items on its site.

What You Must Do
Local
We prefer to keep things local, so post on Okitter site are better responded to geographically when is closest to you e.g. if you are posting on our Nigerian site and you are in Lagos, it is better to post your ad in the Lagos site.
You must use your own location for your ad. Post in the category that most matches your Ad.
What You Must Not Do
No duplicate ads
Only 1 ad is allowed per item / job / Housing / Motor / service in one category. Don’t duplicate ur ad and post it across multiple categories. If found, it will be deleted and restricted for future use of the site.
Items not yet available
Okitter only allow ads to be placed for sale, swap or buy if the item is available. Therefore we do not allow ads on site for products which are not currently available in Nigeria or products that the seller is still waiting to receive.
Photo's
Photographs posted on the site should be relevant to the item you described in your ad. Motors, House and any other categories, the photographs need to be of the item being sold.
How Do I Post an Ad :
1. Login to register an Account and click "PLACE AN AD FREE" at the right top of any page. Then select your prefered location on the next screen. e.g your current location where you want your ad to be featured.
2. Choose the Category that best matches your ad and click on the sub-category for your ad.
3. complete the form
4. On the featured ad, follow the instructions to pay for your option(s).
Note : it could take upto 2 hours for your ad to appear as a featured ad.

I Posted an Ad, But It Doesnt Show Up On Search. Why?
You need to register and make sure your account is completed and verified before you post an ad. if it continues. Cantact the Customer care.
I Don't Want My Name, Phone Number, Email Address To Appear On Your Site. What Should I Do?
If All My Information Is Private, How Can A Buyer Cantact Me?
When your ad appears, instead of showing your contact information the following appears: "This seller has chosen to remain private. You may contact this seller via anonymous email by clicking here." The prospective buyer completes an on-line form and the system sends you an email without revealing your information to the prospective buyer.
Why Was My Posted Ad Removed Or Deleted
To find out why we removed your listing, be sure to read the email we sent you. If you don't see an email from us, check your spam folder
If we removed your ad, it's probably because it either violated the law or one of our policies. Or, it may have been removed because the item's rights owner (for example, Atmosphere or Next) asked us to removed it. This can happen even if your item is genuine.
